A google fix for concept artists..?
Monday, June 27, 2011 at 02:50PM Ever try to search for a concept artist on google? Mildly annoying, but it's a shame that 'concept art' brings up link hubs, and data farms that are generally assets that are pirated from the artists themselves.. Go check out any of the top sites, and you will find hundreds of hot linked images, that often do not credit the artist.
I've been searching google for 'concept art' since it has been out. I remember when the top sites, were http://jamesclyne.com/, http://www.fengzhudesign.com/, http://www.grnr.com/, http://www.drawthrough.com/ .. Now it's ConceptArt.org, that should be high, but I also assume they may have to pay for top billing, and link and data farms.
Too bad the individual artist is getting lost in the traffic. It's amazing to me that there are no individual concept artists sites within the first many pages today under the search term 'concept art'...

Still can always find some gems through things like stumbleupon search or cgsociety in addition to conceptart.org. However most recently on the company search I find it naseatingly annoying to search through conceptart.orgs layouts.
