D-box review.. a reason to actually go into the theater?

Last weekend we got a chance to try Dbox. This is huge for us.. Our living room theater sounds better, looks better and the people that go there know to stfu.. This is the first time we saw a reason to leave the house for a movie in a long time.

Dbox is a motion technology built into the movie theater seat. It allows for various vibrations jolts and swaying that can match action in the show. Interesting is the fact that the effect is user adjustable.. I found lower intensity to seam well with the show. In the right motion editors hands it could really sweeten a movie. At times the motion was elegant. That said, I found some of the scenes easily over done. Some of the movement bordered repetitive by the time the show was over. It not bad by any means. Personally I adjusted to the sensation of a large subwoofer. I could see where young kids will love the over the top animation of the seat. I really think Dbox will be a worth while advancment in horror movies and I plan on going every time a ggod one comes along.

I look forward to now having a reason to go to the movies and I think D-box is on its way of giving it..

Wow! The D-box looks promising. I heard from my friends who tried it that The D-box makes your film watching more enjoyable. I would love to try it one of these days.
